Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2023-02-24T16:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2023-02-24T16:48:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S15E05
Active Region Number: 13230
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
JS: Jet and Shock Candidate
Note: CME seen in C2/C3 to the SE and in STEREO A COR2 to the S/SE. Source of eruption seen in UV imagery at 2023-02-24T15:15Z from AR 3226 to 3230 (S10-S30 and E20-E00). Opening field lines, brightening, and EUV wave seen in SDO AIA 193. Brightening seen in SDO AIA 304. Possibly strong southern deflection due to a large coronal hole at central meridian, just above the two Active Regions.

If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |
